Description
WhiteGold buys raw cotton from local growers and sells the ginned cotton for its
own account world wide. Equipped by 3 Lummus and 2 Continental Gin Stands
and a Continental Bess Press, we produce approx. 22 bales per hour with a total
capacity of 88 tons of lint per day. WhiteGold has produced more than 45,000
bales (9000 tons lint - 24,500 tons raw) during the last season.
The group has experienced a solid growth in the past few years due to the
increasing demand of Nigerian cotton. This occurred despite the fact that Nigerian
cotton is know to contain minor contamination which comes from the farmers'
usage of polypropylene bags to collect and carry raw cotton from the fields.
Our prices are quite competitive due to the large volumes we move, low overhead
and efficiency in our operation. We ship in 40 ft high-cube containers (approx 21
tons). Each container has 103 bales - Universal Bales Density (approx 210 kg).
